Here’s why you should practice it more often

Have you ever had the fear that you’ll waste a large chunk of your life on things that eventually won’t matter?

Sad truth: a lot of people have lived their lives this way.

As humans, we’re biologically wired to be distracted by stuff. This means that there’s high a tendency to waste too much of our life energy things that won’t matter in the scheme of things.

Take working for money as a typical example:

Since having lots of money is tantamount to being successful, your brain automatically assumes that any amount of time or effort spent on “money-making activities” is laudable.

This default way of thinking is what has led many people to work so tirelessly for money at the expense of more important things.

  • Things like family
  • Things like relationships.
  • Things like taking care of your mental health.
  • Things like searching for your truth.
  • Things like freedom to do the things you like.
  • Things like asking yourself what you really want to use that money for.
