Khabib Nurmagomedov is considered one of the most successful Russian athletes. Khabib made his professional MMA debut in 2008, and dominated the UFC for years before his retirement in 2020. He also held the record for the longest undefeated streak in MMA with 29 wins and no losses.

It’s fair to say that he was very successful.
