Forget the brouhaha, it’s only appropriate that the right thing should be done

I can’t imagine everybody right now saying: “Respect to Will for protecting his wife!

You should never assault anyone physically, no matter the offence.

Period.

According to BBC news, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock onstage just a couple of hours ago for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith being in G.I Jane because of her ‘bald’ head. Like that wasn’t enough, Will walked back to his seat and repeatedly yelled at Chris, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth!” All this happened live at the Academy Awards night… in front of the whole world.

Wait a second.

Did this happen for real? What was he thinking? How did he expect that attacking a colleague in that manner would protect his wife from anything? What was he even protecting his wife from?

Nobody’s perfect so I dare not be judgmental. But if you look at things from a logical point of view, you’ll get a sense of the bigger picture.
