How can we get rid of unhappiness for good?

There’s an old saying that “success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get.”

If you’re happy today, it means where you are is most likely where you think you should be.

If on the other hand, for some reason, your current situation is different from what you want or expect, you will be unsatisfied and unhappy.

The gap between your current situation and where you think you should be is what determines whether you’re happy or unhappy.

The shorter the gap, the happier we tend to be.

This means that in order to increase our chances of finding happiness, we should strive to shorten such gaps or learn how to adjust our expectations in life accordingly.

I ponder over these 21 questions from time to time and they’ve have helped me identify ways to accomplish this task. They are effective and easy to comprehend.

Answer them truthfully if you want to get the most out of them.

1. Do you have something to look forward to?
