1. The number one giveaway for fake friends.
A fake friend will only contact you whenever they need a favour.
No. They hardly ever call you out of the blue just to check up on you or to confirm that you’re doing okay.
Instead, when they contact you, they begin with a fake intro like: “Hey buddy, how you doing?” And just when you’ve started getting a little comfortable, they pop their request out of nowhere: “Hey, can I borrow your car for tomorrow evening?”

2. A fake friend will never go out of their way to help you.
This is another big slap in the face from fake friends.
A fake friend will only help you when it’s super convenient for them to do so. However, if it involves a teeny-weeny bit of sacrifice, count them out.
